About Aki Geomatics
Cadastral & Legal Surveying, Built on Precision and Trust
Aki Geomatics Inc. is a federally incorporated land surveying practice with a focus on cadastral and legal surveying — the work that determines exactly where a property begins and ends, and stands up to legal scrutiny.
Why Cadastral Surveying Is Our Focus
Legal boundaries carry consequences — for a land transaction, a First Nation asserting jurisdiction over its reserve lands, or a developer bringing new lots to market. We specialize in cadastral survey and boundary retracement because it demands the highest level of legal and technical accuracy in the profession, and it's the foundation every other survey and design decision depends on.
That focus is backed by licensure as a Canada Lands Surveyor (CLS), the credential required to legally survey Canada Lands — including First Nations reserves, the territories, and national parks — and by ongoing candidacy for Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) licensure to serve clients under Ontario's Surveys Act.
